Every customer’s journey is different. Whether you pop into the showroom or phone up for an appointment, the next step is to get measurements. Steven, the Director, will visit your premises. He will conduct a free ‘no obligation’ survey and take measurements. Some people bring in measurements they have taken themselves. Emma correlates all the measurements. She puts together information for you.
Emma will invite you to visit the showroom in Bishopbriggs. Together, you will discuss the project further and choose your products. Some people prefer to pick the room furniture first. Others have a tile or colour scheme in mind and will work from that. She will recommend suitable products, based on room dynamics and customer preference. You choose items from brochures or from the showroom displays.
NBS Bathrooms and Home Improvements have strong relationships with various suppliers. Steven and Emma will get you the best price possible for the products you choose. They will calculate tile and wall board quantities for you. They factor in room size, layout and shape, as well as products chosen. You will then receive the total price for your project.
The next step is to look at the diary to fix a project start date. The NBS Bathrooms and Home Improvements team are flexible. They will work around your family, pets and schedule. Their goal is to complete your project on time with minimal disruption.
For kitchens and bathrooms, a deposit of £500 is payable at the time of booking. This deposit secures the start date in the diary. It also secures the trades people required for the project. Most projects start on a Monday. Half of the remaining balance is due on the day the project starts. Emma will schedule delivery of all products. They will arrive on site, on the project start date. The final payment, of the remaining balance, is due upon completion of the project.
Deposits and payment arrangements are different for extensions, conversions and any other services. NBS Bathrooms and Home Improvements offer an instalment plan for larger projects. Terms for other projects are 50% up front and balance on completion. Please ask about the various payment options when discussing your project requirements.
Delivery of products and a skip (if required) happens on the start date. Stripping out and preparation takes place on Monday and Tuesday. Trades people come throughout the week to do their part. Removal of rubbish takes place upon completion of the project.
